Two DC “neighborhood leaders” demand that all of their neighbors be deprived the right to vote
Does anyone else find it ironic that self-proclaimed “neighborhood leaders” would lead an effort to deny the members of that same neighborhood the right to vote? Community leaders should advocate on behalf of the right to vote, not to bar voters – their neighbors – from the ballot simply because they think only issues that suit them should “see the light of day.”
ADF, in contrast, is standing up for the right of District residents to vote even as “neighborhood leaders” work to deny their own neighbors that most fundamental right.
