In church vs. neighbors, bells begin the fight

Arizona Republic:  "It's quiet again on Caribbean Lane.  The type of quiet that comes only after a long stretch of arguing.

In the past year, angry neighbors confronted a proud church. Cops were called, and lawyers were called in. Contentious meetings were held and walked out on. There were videotapes and sternly worded letters.  And it was all because of church bells.
The neighbors said the bells were just too loud.
 
The bishop said that if you silenced the bells, you silenced the voice of God.  Playing them, he said, was his constitutional right."
