ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
H.B. 1390 was temporarily halted by the court on July 1 pending further review. Wednesday’s hearing will decide if a preliminary injunction should be issued against the measure or if the state is likely to succeed in its argument that the law is a reasonable regulation of abortion for the sake of the health and safety of mothers. Alliance Defending Freedom is providing litigation consultation services to the state’s counsel. Senior Counsel Steven H. Aden will attend the hearing.
