ADF understands that journalists have limited time and space in stories and that few stories will include a comprehensive description of ADF. Please refer to the following as a way to concisely describe ADF:
"ADF is a legal alliance of Christian attorneys and like-minded organizations defending the right of people to freely live out their faith. Launched in 1994, ADF employs a unique combination of strategy, training, funding, and litigation to protect and preserve religious liberty, the sanctity of life, marriage, and the family."
However, if space is of even greater concern, consider the following briefer options:

Strategy and coordination
Since 1994, we have been blessed to work with more than 300 organizations, helping to coordinate an allied effort and to provide resources and strategic direction on cases related to our mission.
Training
The Alliance Defense Fund is the only legal ministry in the United States that provides regular, extensive, and top-level litigation training through an accredited academy program to help practicing attorneys successfully defend and reclaim religious freedom, the sanctity of human life, and marriage and the family.
Funding
Since 1994, ADF has provided millions of dollars in funding for hundreds of cases and legal projects to protect religious freedom, the sanctity of human life, and marriage and the family.
Litigation Support and Partnership
The Alliance Defense Fund, working in partnership with our allies, as well as experienced litigators, directly litigates strategic cases to protect religious freedom, the sanctity of human life, and marriage and the family.
ADF is based in Scottsdale, Arizona. There are seven regional service centers located in Washington, DC; Folsom, Calif.; Leawood, Kan.; Memphis, Tenn.; and Lawrenceville, Ga. In addition, ADF has allied attorneys nationwide and internationally.
