How should the Alliance Defense Fund be described?

ADF understands that journalists have limited time and space in stories and that few stories will include a comprehensive description of ADF.  Please refer to the following as a way to concisely describe ADF:

"ADF is a legal alliance of Christian attorneys and like-minded organizations defending the right of people to freely live out their faith.  Launched in 1994, ADF employs a unique combination of strategy, training, funding, and litigation to protect and preserve religious liberty, the sanctity of life, marriage, and the family."

However, if space is of even greater concern, consider the following briefer options:

  • "a Christian legal alliance defending religious liberty, sanctity of life, marriage, and the family"
  • "a legal alliance founded in 1993 by more than 30 prominent Christian leaders"
  • "a legal alliance defending the right of people to live out their faith"
